Sorry folks but I have to add my 2 cents...just one more post after this...and I will be quiet.... I think all have made good points in the discussion which hopefully will make "Newbies" aware of the issue and more careful in note taking, record copying, etc. And the best statement on the subject was Michael Ryan saying that a "true Newfoundlander shares without expecting in return" and the worst statement was from someone new to the list thanking folks for help and at the same time stating they woud "not share one bit till it was all copywritten" Copywritten work is fine...everything on the net is "copyright" protected and when someone "helps" you with an OBIT, Will, or Message post etc. make sure you obtain permission from the Poster before you cut and paste it. Somehow I feel the "unwilling sharer" type may not be the type to attribute either. There is no excuse for failing to attribute the work of others with a Thank You and citation except for bad ethics. We are all human and make errors (forget where we found something) but let your own conscience be a good guide and when that fails May GRANDMA's grave serve as a reminder. Joanne
