BATTEN, William J. - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, July 23, 2003, of Foxtrap, aged 73 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Olive; one sister Susie Lear, Seal Cove; sister-in-law Betty Cross, Mount Pearl; also nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews. Funeral service on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 2 p.m. at All Saints Church, Foxtrap. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn`s Hill, Foxtrap. July 25, 2003 MCINNIS, Donna Kathleen (McCarthy) - Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John`s, on July 24, 2003, after a short battle with cancer, Donna Kathleen McInnis, age 50 years. Predeceased by her father, Charlie McCarthy of Deer Lake. Mourning her deeply are her devoted husband and best friend, Alex; her precious children: Kate Richardson (Glenn) of Celle, Germany, Krista (Stephen Gillard) and Fraser; her mother, Onie McCarthy and sister Angela of Deer Lake; brother Danny McCarthy (Theresa); mother-in-law Eileen McInnis; brother-in-law John McInnis (Cathy); sisters-in-law: Maureen MacLeod (Allister), Bea Buckland (Huck), all of Nova Scotia; her co-workers at the St. John`s International Airport, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at the Carnell Memorial Chapel, St. John`s on Friday, July 25, 2003 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. and Sunday, July 27, 2003 at Parson`s Funeral Home, Deer Lake from 2-5 p.m.! and 7-10 p.m. Funeral Mass from the Immaculate Conception Parish Church, Deer Lake on Monday, July 28, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Deer Lake. Born January 27, 1910 at Safe Harbour, Bonavista Bay. Passed away at home on July 24, 2003. Predeceased by husband Edmund R. Noel in 1994. Beloved mother of Sidney and his wife Carol Hargreaves of London, ON, Ida of St. John`s, Evelyn and husband Ronald Bisson of Ottawa, ON, Lloyd and wife Dianne Stephens of St. John`s; also four grandchildren: Christopher and wife Amy McCarthy of Toronto, ON, Steven of Kingston, ON, Robert of London, ON, Justine and her children Jessica and Eric of Victoria, BC; also cousins, nieces and nephews. Tucker. Retired employee of Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro. Aged 74 years. Leaving to mourn his wife Eileen (Casey); his sons: Gary and Walter Jr. (Wally) and his wife Libbie; his beloved granddaughters: Robyn and Erin Tucker; his brother Leslie R. and his wife Betty, Calgary, AB and their children: Richard and Janet; brothers-in-law: Ron Casey (Eleanor), Bill Casey (Ann) and Jim Casey (Maureen); sisters-in-law: Carmel McDonald (Kevin), Brenda Grouchy (Bill) and Maureen Casey.
