Greetings Donna, This loyalist topic is very very facinating....Do you have any information about your McCormack ancestors beyond your great grandmother? I have very limited knowledge about the history of NB, NS and PEI..now playing 'catch up'. I don't have any information to confirm the path of Earle's to Conception Bay. Now I am not trying to find family connections which might explain why my grandfather's older brother moved to Grand Manan Island, just a short distance from Campabello Island. Do you know for how long the Roosevelt/Rosewell family claimed property on Campabello Island and if the Island was ever part of the USA? Emails from listers, relating to my Loyalist and 1820 Captain postings, have been very enlightening, for which I am most thankful.
