Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, Wilfred Avery of Southport, aged 83 years. Predeceased by his sister, Dorothy, and brother, Chesley. Left with fond and loving memories his brother William (Myria) of Shoal Harbour, nieces Elaine Stringer (Garfield) of Shoal Harbour, Evelyn Avery of Southport, nephew Winston Avery of Port Blandford, nieces Susette Peddle (Trace) of Clarenville, Shelly Littlejohn (Norman) of Bay Roberts, nephews Larry Tippet (Corrine) and Sterling Tippet (Sylvia) of Alberta, great-nieces and nephews and a large number of relatives and friends. Resting at Fewer`s Funeral Home, Little Heart`s Ease. Funeral will take place Monday, Sept. 15, 2003 at 2 p.m. from the United Church, Southport, with interment in United Cemetery, Little Heart`s Ease. September 14, 2003 CAINES, Wilhelmina V. - Passed peacefully away at her residence in St. John`s on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003, Wilhelmina (Gill) Caines, aged 81 years. Predeceased by husbands Herbert Gill and Ted Caines. Left to cherish the memory of a loving mother are her children: Rick Gill (Pauline), Wanda (Wayne Fost), and Gordon Gill (Shelley); a devoted grandmother to Gregory and Peter Gill, Jason and Jeremy Fost, Mark and Brian Penney and granddaughter Julie Gill (her precious angel). Also survived by three step-children: Marilyn Burt, Bruce and Derrick Caines; sisters-in-law Rosalie Dawe, Pamela Rose and Dorothy Acreman; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and her dear friends. Predeceased earlier this week on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2003 by her beloved husband George of 62 years. She is survived by her twin sister, Minnie Kirby, of Wilmington, Mass., U.S.A., sister Winnie Taylor of Corner Brook, and brother-in-law Herbert (Lavinia) Day, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by wife Margaret in 1985.
