I had the pleasure of visiting this home twice in one day on August 26th, 2003. As far as I know the Brett home was built for John and Julia Brett in the late 1800's and later owned by their son Charles and Mathilda Brett nee Boone. The inside of the house has all original furniture and the beautiful hooked rugs on display were awesome. It's a "must see" home for anyone visiting Fogo Island.
