BUTLER, Eric John - Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, September 28, 2003, Eric John Butler of South River, aged 74 years. Eric retired in 1985 after 30 years of service with the Argentia Naval Base. Predeceased by his sisters: Susie Andrews and Frances Bishop, brothers: Roy and Bill. Leaving to mourn his loving and dedicated wife Ida, six children: Kurt (Diane), Gary (Sharon), Gail (John McDonald), David, Darlene (John Steele) and Kenneth, seven cherished grandchildren: Karen, David, Shawn, Scott, Matthew, Andrew and Eric, sister-in-law Muriel Boone and a large number of special in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends.
