This may be slightly off-topic, but there's a new 8-part series from Britain called "Antiques Ghostshow" that started on Bravo last week. It runs on Sunday night at 8:00 p.m.(EDT) Sorry if you're seeing a duplicate copy of this email as I've sent it to a few Canadian lists I'm on. The programme features a psychic, an historian and a genealogist. In one segment of the first show, a fellow had brought in a model ship built by an ancestor in the late 1800s. The psychic "did his thing" and came up with all sorts of information on the ancestor. Then the historian and genealogist researched what the psychic had said and reported back with their findings. It was really quite fascinating! Oh to be able to hand over an ancestor's pocketbook that I have from the 1700s and get some help with my brick walls! Maybe if enough of us watch, the producers will come over and tap into *our* heirlooms. Sally
