LINEHAN, Mary - Passed peacefully away at Lions Manor Nursing Home Placentia on Sept. 7, 2003 age 81 years. Predeceased by husband Patrick, sister Betty, brother Jim and parents Edward and Alice Collins. Leaving to mourn two children Des (Mary) and Debbie (Jerome Power). Four grandchildren Desi Linehan (Karen), Tammy (Wayne Hann), Jennifer and Nichole Power. Two great-grandchildren Alexandia and Nicholas Hann. Three brothers Edward Collins (Minnie), Mike Collins, John Collins (Mary Ann). Brothers and sisters-in-law Gordon Linehan (Claudette), Maureen Linehan (George, deceased), Brendan Tobin (Alma, deceased), Tony Muroski (Theresa, deceased). A large number of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends especially the residents and staff at Lions Manor Nursing Home Placentia. Resting at Coombs Funeral Home Placentia. September 09, 2003 MAUNDER, Herbert Philip (³Tex²) - Passed peacefully away on Sunday, Sept. 7 at Escasoni Nursing Home, St. John`s in the presence of his loving family, Philip (Tex) Maunder, in his 59th year; predeceased by his father Herbert (1962) and his mother, Audrey (1996). Left to mourn are his sister Janet Quinn (Donald) with whom he resided, brother Dave Maunder (Vanda) of Brigus; nieces Leisa Sullivan (Gary); Andrea Maunder, Haley Maunder and April Nangle (Douglas); nephews Todd Quinn (Susan), Darroch Quinn (Julie) and David Maunder (Jr.). Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Barrett`s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., Monday Sept. 8 from 2:30 to 4:30 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. and on Tuesday Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Passed peacefully away on Sept. 5, 2003 after a sudden illness at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John`s in her 47th year. She is predeceased by her father Henry and brother Robert; mother-in-law Betty Sullivan. Left with uncountable happy memories are her loving husband Kevin and four beloved children; Heather, Kara, Drew and Anna. She will be sadly missed by her mother Gertrude Drew; sisters, Mary Lou Chafe and friend Jim, Joan Williams (Andre), Dorothy Howley (Jack), Edith Butt (Neil), Genevieve Banfield (Dick), Marilyn Furlong (Edward), Adrienne Bursey (Paul); brothers, Joseph (Sandra) and Christopher (special friend Connie); her father-in-law Alf Sullivan and Kevin`s sisters; Patricia (Rod), Joan (Chris), Noreen (Robert) and Christina (Billy).
