(Murphy) - Passed away suddenly but peacefully at St. Clare`s Hospital on Sunday, November 23, 2003, Helen F. Kavanagh. Predeceased by her husband Charlie in 1981, brother Bill and parents Leo and Mary (Kent) Murphy. Leaving to mourn with loving memories one sister Brenda Walsh (Jim and children Jimmy, Chris and Jessica); one brother Bruce, residing in U.S.A.; cousin Margaret Kelly, and other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, Monday 8-10 p.m., Tuesday 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Funeral on Wednesday to Basilica for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment at Belvedere Cemetery. November 24, 2003 MILLER, Ignatius - Passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, of Jerseyside, P. Bay, age 55 years. Predeceased by mother Anna Miller. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife Ellen (nee Walsh), daughter Anna, sons Neshie, Ricky (Chelsie), and Ray, sisters Marjorie (Derm), Linda, stepbrother Eugene (Marg), one sister-in-law Liz (Leo), three brothers-in-law John (Darlene), Denny (Sheila), and Tommy, special nieces and nephews Lisa (Trevor), Sean (Madonna), Derrick, Wayne, Kenny and Sheldon, great-nieces and nephews Kyle, Ryan, Stephen, Shawna and Stephanie. Also a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Maher`s Funeral Home, Placentia. Funeral to be announced later. Interment at Dermot McGettigan Memorial Cemetery, Southeast, Placentia. ³His love of nature and all things green, his wife and his children will forever be seen. Although our hearts ache to see him pass, our memories of him will always last.² November 24, 2003 POWER (BRENNAN), Mary - Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick`s Mercy Home on Friday, Nov. 21, 2002, Mary (Brennan) Power of Fermeuse, age 88 years. Predeceased by her husband Vincent Brennan in 1975 and Martin Power in 1986. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her children John (Elaine), Anne, Diane (Bill), Reg and Harold, nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also her good friend George Hanlon as well as other relatives and friends. Remains resting at Fahey`s Funeral Home, Fermeuse. Visitation on Sunday, Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Monday, Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, Nov. 24, 2003 at 2 p.m. from St. Charles Borromeo Church, Fermeuse. Interment to follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, Fermeuse. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to St. Patrick`s Mercy Home. November 24, 2003 SHEPPARD, Frederick - Passed peacefully away on Friday, November 21, 2003 at St. Joseph`s Hospital, Thunder Bay, Ontario, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Fred was born in Carmanville, N.D. Bay, Nfld. on October 22, 1922 to Delilah and Theophilus Sheppard. He worked for many years with EGM Cape Construction Co. in various provinces. Upon his retirement in 1983, he settled in Thunder Bay. Left with fond and loving memories are his devoted wife of 56 years Elsie (Pennell); son Bob; daughters Betty (Bill) Soini, and Melida (Randy) Boyd; grandsons Theo, Fred, Bill Jr. and John (Leanne); great grandsons Skylar and Keelan; sister Ada (Hugh) Cole; sisters-in-law Dorothy Sheppard, Goldie Sheppard and Norma (Clyde) Hobbs as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at Trinity United Church, Thunder Bay, with the Rev. Randy Boyd officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made ! to the Canadian Cancer Society. November 24, 2003
