    3. Hi Ed; The name "SAMSON" originate from Devon and Dorchester {Dorset} England. DAVIS originate from Ireland, the Midlands and south of England. ATTWOOD, surname of Worcestershire, Bedfordshire and Devon, England. GILL, a surname of England, Scotland, Ireland and the Channel Islands. HALLETT, a surname of Dorset, Devon and Somerset England and Jersey {Channel Islands}all names transcribed from the corrected edition of E. R. Seary.
