Vaughan - Passed peacefully away in his 76th year in the presence of his loving family on Sunday, November 16, 2003 at Carbonear General Hospital. Vaughan was the only son of the late Albert and Mary E. Mercer of Bay Roberts. Also predeceased by his sister Pearl Ploughman and dearly loved granddaughter Nicole ³Niki² Fortier. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Hope (Baggs), only son Calvin, daughters: Valerie and Lynn (Wayne Boundrige),; also two sisters: Mary Batten and Berdena Spencer (Wesley), as well as a large circle of close relatives and dear friends who will treasure the wonderful memories Vaughan has left - his love of family and his sense of humour will never be forgotten.
