    2. The names being researched in NFLD are... WILLIAM MULLALLY Lawyer from Millinahone, Ire., married NORA LYNCH-STAUTON. Family lore proclaims that williams family went to Bonavista first and he arrived later, about 1850. He had a daughter...WINNIFRED and 3 brothers RICHARD ,EDWARD 3RD UNKNOWN. William is said to have been the lawyer for the R.C. Basilica of St. Johns with Archbishop Micheal Howley. He came to St.Johns for a big Murder trial before 1867. WILLIAM died of the plague before 1890. Nora (she had a bad leg and a maid Colleen) died about 1878. Winifred (at age 11)was sent to the convent (presentation) to live. JOHN KING was a fisherman who may have lived in lands end (ENGLEE) when LUKE KING was born JAN 18, 1890. John is said to have married ELIZABETH UNKNOWN. Luke went into WW1 185th Bat. C>E>F. It is believed he was a deserter and moved to Quebec then to Ontario. At this time he took his wife's name WINIFRED MULLALLY married LUKE PETER KING and his name became PETER MULLALLY. He was a steel worker in Sydney before the war , residing at Prince Street, Sydney in 1914. He was a shifty fellow and never owned property. Note ; Luke had a sister named ANNA(I)(E) this lady was said to have married a FRED or JOHN PRETTY from Dildo. OTHER FAMILIES BEING RESEARCHED ARE....
