I am interested in knowing if anyone has opinions/knowledge about 2 Newfoundland books recently reprinted: Soe Longe As There Comes Noe Women by W Gordon Handcock A History of Newfoundland From The English Colonial and Foreign Records by Judge DW Prowse (originally printed 1895). From limited discriptions I have seen about these books, I think they may be of some genealogical value, but cannot say for sure. I was thinking about buying one or both of them but rather know a little more about either of them if possible. Thanks to anyone who responds. Michael Cooper
