Does any one know of this family? David MUIR, born Halifax N.S., 14 Dec 1822, to Andrew MUIR & Jane (nee McJERROW), died 30 Oct 1898. David, a jeweller, married by Rev. R. Williams, Agnes Anderson of St. Johns 6 Dec 1848. A son, Andrew, baptised St. Johns Presbyterian Ch. Nfld. 1850. Possibly a daughter, Elizabeth Jane, born later. David Muir's brother, Robert Thomas Muir of Halifax, in his 1868 will left 100 Pounds to "brother David's wife" & $400 to "my niece Elizabeth Jane Muir now residing with us". Yvette, Ottawa
