(retired RNA - General Hospital) - Passed peacefully away on Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at The Hoyles-Escasoni Complex, Marguerite Coffey (nee Maher), formerly of Aquaforte, aged 85 years. Predeceased by her husband James, daughter Roseanne and brother Angus Maher. Left with fond and loving memories are her sons Ken (Carole Anne) and Kerry (Sharon); beloved grandchildren Dr. James (Julie-Lynn), Dr. Joseph (Sue-Anne), Jeffrey (Susan), Juliana, Christopher (Jennifer) and Scott, cherished great-granddaughter Lauryn, special in-laws Anna Clowe, Bert Coffey (Eileen), Steve Coffey (Mae), Margaret Coffey and Anne O`Keefe (George), many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends, especially her special friends Ida Michaell and Dorothy Grouchy. At Marguerite`s request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitation at Carnell`s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Monday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003 at 9:45 ! a.m. from St. Pius X Parish, Smithville Crescent, with interment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one`s choice. ³Always on optimist!² ³Her keen sense of humour will long be remembered.² November 15, 2003 FORAN, James Arthur - Passed peacefully away at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Nov. 13, 2003, James Arthur Foran, aged 57 years. Predeceased by his father James C. Foran. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Mabel (nee Currie), sons James of Halifax, N.S., and Matthew of Calgary, Alta., mother Bernice of Goulds, brother Edward (Helen) of St. John`s, sisters Catherine of Staten Island, N.Y., Connie (Marty) of Dayton, Ohio, and Bernice (Wilf) of Goulds.
