Miller Centre on October 7, 2003, in her 78th year, after a prolonged battle with cancer. Lovingly remembered by her husband Errol; daughter Margaret Kroski (Homer), daughter Beverley Nelder (David), son Joseph (Cathy); daughter Marilyn Summers (Henry), son Erik (Elizabeth), and son Leif (Karen). In 1949 she immigrated to Montreal with her husband Leon Alexander and their son David. The family moved to St. John`s, NL in 1954 and operated Leon Alexander Dry Goods until 1985. Predeceased by her parents and three sisters who perished in the Holocaust and subsequently by her husband, three brothers and a granddaughter. She is survived by her son Dr. David Alexander (Dr. Jane Weckman), Halifax, her daughter Frances Alexander (Alan Wilson), Vancouver; grandchildren: Benjamin and Sharon Alexander, Laura and Alexander Bloomberg.
