LANGER, Margaret (Peg) (nee Power) - Passed away suddenly after a brief illness at the Health Sciences Centre on October 2, 2003. Margaret (Peg) Langer (nee Power), aged 62 years. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas Power and Margaret (nee Christopher); brother Thomas Power and infant sister Theresa Power, sister-in-law Maureen Power (Richardson). October 03, 2003 LANGER, McDOW - Mr. Raymond Douglas McDow age 68 years of Toledo Street passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, October 1, 2003. Doug was born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia in 1935 and was raised there on his parent`s farm. While there, Doug attended trade school, becoming a pipefitter and then joining the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union in 1959. Later in 1964 Doug married his wife Alberta and they have enjoyed the last 39 years together. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Alberta, his brother Bernard (Maxine) McDow, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Doug was predeceased by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 6, 2003 at 2:00 PM in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma with Father P. M. Stilla of Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church officiating. Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service time.
