ANTHONY, John Charles (Charlie) - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on October 16, 2003, Charlie Anthony, aged 53 years, formerly of Codroy. Predeceased by his sister Angela. Leaving to mourn with cherished memories, loving wife Barbara; daughter Jennifer; son Jonathan; dear parents, William and Phyllis; special sister Jean (Wayne) Lawe; nieces and nephews; also a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul`s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Predeceased by her husband Edward, 1985. Granddaughter of Chesley and Sadie Burry. Predeceased by her grandparents John and Margret Manning. Predeceased by his father Patrick, 1997; mother Mary, 1987; his sisters: Elizabeth Jarvis, July 2, 2003 and Nora Walsh, 1987; brothers: Patrick Coady, 2001 and Martin Chafe, 1998. He leaves to mourn his wife Yvonne (nee Walsh); his daughter Alice; brother Derrick, sisters: Cathy McGrath (Randy), Jacqueline St. John (David), Pauline Smith (Ken), Margaret Bennett (Tom), Marie Walsh, Ontario; special friends, Jim and Rose Fillier; and a large circle of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Tom was predeceased by his loving wife, Florrie (Fitzpatrick, 1990); his brother William; his sisters: Sister Mary Placide Conway, RSM, Kathleen Mercier and Delores King. Left wife loving memories are his six daughters: Marie (Jim) Leonard, Goose Bay, Regina (Cyril) Hammond, St. Catharines, ON, Anita (Doug) Barnes, Grand Falls, Catherine (Kay) (Kieran) Whelan, Labrador City, Bonnie (Bill) Vienneau, Halifax, NS, Elizabeth (Bill Lukachuk), Lachine, QC; his son Paul (Jean Gibson), Lachine, QC; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; his sister Beth (Abe) Norris, Cambridge, ON; his brother Gerald (Sadie), St. John`s; his sisters-in-law: Kathleen Conway, Cambridge, ON and Lillian Fitzpatrick, Bell Island and many nieces and nephews. J. - Passed peacefully away October 17, 2003 at his home in Ferryland, WWII veteran, Royal Navy First Draft, DJX 173 630, member of the Naval Association, age 87 years. Predeceased by his wife Anna (1996).
