Obit in the Evening Telegram May 14, 1921 (Saturday) In Memoriam. Thomas Slaney. The very many friends of Thomas Slaney will regret to hear of his death at Canden (?Campden), N.J. a few weeks ago. Mr. Slaney had reached the advanced age of eighty years, ... In church matters, too, he took an active interest, and his dear old Chapel's Cove had none more loyal son than Tom Slaney when he emigrated two years ago to live abroad with his daughter, Mrs. James Aide. The deceased was thrice married. By his first wife,Miss Constance Fardy, he leaves two daughters - Mrs. Patrick Dwyer, Holyrood, and Mrs. John Day, Notre Dame Bay. By his second wife, Miss Kate Curran, one daughter, Mrs. James Aide, 215 Mt. Vernon Street, Camden, with whom he lived at the time of his death. And by his third wife, Miss Mary Flynn, Colliers, C.B., none. His remains now rest in Mt. Vernon Cemetery beside those of his two daughters who predeceased him, and may his soul rest in peace. ...
