    3. CROUT, HENRY, settler in the first English colony in Newfoundland; fl. 1612-17. For more information on Henry Crout: http://www.biographi.ca/EN/index.html [TC Notes] George Crout, mariner of Plymouth, fl. 1618-19. John Crowte, sailor of Brixham, made his will 1612. Henry Crout is likely of Devon originals but retired to Lambeth, Warwickshire. Richard Crout a mariner in Brixham fl. 1659. Richard Crout of the ship: Margaret, made his will 1660 (county not mentioned). A more junior Henry Crout was born at Brixham in 1653, son of John.
