I have been searching for Howells who married into the Gillett(e) (sometimes spelled with a "J") family of Carbonear The first was a Susanna Howell born circa 1809, possibly daughter of James Howell and Ann??, she married James Gillett -born circa 1803 in Carbonear, they were married circa 1830 Their children were (all born in Carbonear): Robert Gillett - c 1830 married Jane Howell (see below) Sarah Jane Gillett - May 30 1831 Carbonear Stephen Gillett - c 1835 married (1) Jemina Howell (who is she) (see below) Benjamin Gillett - Jul 25 1837 married Jane Long (my Great Grandparents) Moses Taylor Gillett - Jul 25 1839 Thomas Gillett William Frederick Gillett - May 5 1844 Sarah Jane Gillett - Aug 13 1846 married William Luther Isabella Gillett - Oct 23 1849 married Benjamin Torphy James Gillett - Jul 12 1852 married Rachel Clarke The second was Jane Howell born circa 1838, daughter of Francis Howell, she married Robert Gillett born circa 1830, they were married Jun 03 1857, their children were: John Howell Gillett - Mar 18 1858 Carbonear Mary Agnes Gillett - Apr 22 1860 Carbonear Fanny Gillett - Jul 26 1862 Carbonear George Gillett - Jun 28 1865 Carbonear James Howell Gillett - Jun 17 1867 Carbonear John Chas Gillett - May 24 1870 Carbonear The third Jemina Howell who married Stephen Gillett, have absolutely nothing on her probably born circa 1835 Any one recognize these Howells Marilyn (Gillette) Schwartz
