    3. Hi Matt, I sent Debbie all my Howell info back to Richard of Western Bay, CB. I was wondering if you can help me with the Western Bay part of the family. I am back as far as Richard Howell (c. 1780's) and Mary ??. They had 3 children that I know of : Julia bn. 1825, Richard bn. 1831 and William bn. 1830's. All three left Western Bay and moved to Cobbler's Island, BB where they married and spent the remainder of their lives in Bonavista Bay. While I am not sure about the parents, I believe they may have moved to BB as well. Do you know if there were any other children than the 3 listed above ? Also would be interested in the lineage from Richard back further. I am fairly sure the family originated in Carbonear. Thanks. 3. Ed, There were 2 male HOWELLs 2 separate HOWELL branches who moved from Carbonear to Western Bay - roughly around 1800. One was the Richard you mention. The other was Matthias - my ggggrandfather, some of whose descendants subsequently moved further down the shore to Northern Bay. If you send me what you sent Debbie, I'll blend it with my file and send you the update. Matt > Hi Matt, I sent Debbie all my Howell info back to Richard of Western Bay, > CB.
