Joseph was born in Moreton's Harbour, NFLD about 1845, baptized at age 9 on 15 Jan. 1854. His parents were Henry RUSSELL and Eleanor (Ellen) BURT. Two of Joseph's siblings were Jemima and Henry. Does any of this ring any bells? If this is the same Joseph as your grandfather's father then I have information on Joseph's ancestry (parents, grandparents etc.) which I could share with you, but I don't have information on who Joseph married or his descendents.
