Hi Jack. I have an ordinary scanner (CanoScan 8400F) that will do negatives. The attachment, however, only allows for the smaller negatives. Hi again Jack. Just went thru the other attachments that came with my scanner and it appears that one of these atttachments may be what your looking for. This attachment will take a neg. that is 2 7/16 by 4 1/2 or longer. Jack, I use a Canon scanner model 9950F. It comes with film carriers to fit 5 different size negatives and I have even made my own out of thin poster board for odd size negatives. I scanned all my family's old negatives and it did a great job.
