Good morning The community of Corbin was not enumerated as a separate community in the 1921 census, only in the 1935 and 1945 census. You can go to the following page on our site to check communities to see if they were enumerated in each of the three major census and which district they were enumerated under. It is an alphabetical list of local locations and communities. http://ngb.chebucto.org/Name-Changes/nfnames-1.shtml This is a fairly inclusive of Newfoundland communities and local locations providing information relating to each, including the above census information. Hope this helps a bit. Is it possible that this community has not been transcribed from the hand written census or is it mistakenly placed in another district? If the community of Corbin wasn't enumerated as a separate community in 1921 how would the enumeration of the people living in the community in 1921 been handled? Would they have been included with another community? I've checked most of the communities surrounding and close to Corbin and they have not been included with those communities.
