I've tried unsuccessfully to interlibrary load Erin's Sons. Does anyone have access to it that can look up Thomas Furlong or any Furlong? Erin's sons : Irish arrivals in Atlantic Canada, 1761-1853 Author:Terrence M Punch Publisher:Baltimore, MD : Genealogical Pub. Co., 2008

Good morning Judy, Sorry I am unable to help with "Erin's Sons". Have you had success? I am looking for information about Michael FAGAN documented in the Port-de-Grave area of Nefoundland in the mid 1800s and said to be from County Tipparery, Ireland. Have you looked for Furlong listings in "The Atlantic Canadians 1600 - 1900", published 1994 by The Genealogy Research Library" Toronto? I have this three volume set and find over a page of Furlong entries along with date and place and book where reference was found. Included are 7 Thomas Furlong listings from both NS and NF. If you are interested I would send you copies of the four related pages just send me your snial mail address. I wondered if there were any Barber's listed in this book coming to Newfoundland in the mid to late 1700's. They could have been from County Sligo.
