If your great-grandparents were from Dr. Bernardo's Home.....did you know that you are able to obtain their full records???? My friend's grandfather was from Dr. Bernardo's Home and she looked them up online, contacted them. They sent her a form to be filled out. Only took a couple of months and she received the full records of her grandfather and her grandfather's brother. It even showed a photo of them on the day that they were admitted into the orphanage. There were full medical records and also how they fared in Canada right up until they were of age that they could leave the farm that they were assigned to.
