Waterloo Region Record, Kitchener, Ontario - 05 Sep 2009 ROSE, Doris May (nee Morgan) - Passed away peacefully at Stirling Heights LTCC on Friday, September 4, 2009 at the age of 93. Born in North River, Newfoundland on July 25, 1916 to Thomas and Emma Morgan. Loving wife of the late Frederick James Rose (Sept. 1970). Doris will be lovingly remembered by her children, Velma Kitchen, Evelyn Matitich, Fred (Ursula), Iris Bowlby (Bill), Gerald (Linda), Tom (Janet), Carol Skinner (Don), Faye Schmidt (Dave), Wade (Shirley), Cheryl Ercul (Frank) and her brother, Walter Morgan. Dear grandmother of 28 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her son, Clyde (Mar. 1993); her grandson, Barry Kitchen (June 2004); four sisters and two brothers. Resting at Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas Street, Cambridge where the family will receive friends on Sunday, September 6, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the funeral home chapel on Monday, September 7, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery.
