Waterloo Region Record, Kitchener, Ont. 24 Aug 2009 KERLING, Susan Joy RN (nee Snow) - As the result of a tragic accident, on Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at the age of 32 years. Susan Joy Kerling of Waterloo, cherished wife and best friend of Trevor. Dearly loved daughter of Beverly and Bill Snow of Baie Verte, Nfld. Loved and missed by her only sister, Sherri Lynn Woolfrey and her husband Peter. Loved aunt of William Woolfrey. Dear daughter-in-law of Sandy Schulz of Winnipeg, Man.; and sister-in-laws, Cathy Case and Tina Case of Winnipeg, Man. She will be sadly missed by her grandmother, Francis Snow of Carbonear, Nfld.; as well as a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. Susan Joy was a Critical Care Nurse in the Cardiac Care Unit at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. She enjoyed spending time with Trevor while motorcycling, snow mobiling, ATVing, and traveling. She also enjoyed working out at the gym and had a soft spot for animals, including her rescued pets, Cotton, Felix and Bandit. Susan Joy's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday (today) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A celebration of Susan Joy's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy to the K-W Humane Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
