Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Tobin). Loving father of Terry (Michelle) of Calgary, Kathy (Kevin) Laushway of Ottawa, and Janet (Chris) Sobczuk of Kitchener. Cherished grandfather of Calyn, Jori, Colin Parrott, Ryan and Jack Laushway and Emily and Sarah Sobczuk. Loved son of Angela and the late John Parrott of Newfoundland. Dear brother of Marion, Beth (Jim), Frank (Joyce), Tom (Grace), Kevin (Norma), Dave (Sue). Brother-in-law of Patricia (Hubert), Anna (Andy), Ellen (Ed), Emma, Bernard, Johnny (Marie), Marg, Teresa, Ivy, and Bride. Jim will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his many relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank Jim’s dear friends, Al and Kenneth, whose daily visits were a great source of comfort. Also to his special friend, Lil, sister, Beth, sisters-in-law, Marg, Anna, Ellen, Dr. Donna Ward and special nurses, Chrissy and Elizabeth for all your support and care.
