I will also ask some other people that are checking things out. There is also a book written for sale in the stores by some guy all about the families on fogo island. I had the name wrote down but can't find it anywhere. He has family trees in it apparantely. I was interested in getting it myself. You can also go to the newfoundland government site. I found an abundance of information there. Census records, marriage, baptism, death, births. I found the census really good. Keep trying you will find things. I will check my things over to and see if there are any pentons in mine. Clar penton and his wife were the people from fogo living in stephenville.
