I will email today in more detail. I expect that the Census taker mistakenly wrote a V where the T was in Martin changing it to Marvin. In my record searches I have often seen misspellings like this or transcription errors. My mother has noted an few family adoptions in our telephone conversations, I will call her and see if she is talking about this line or another and get back to you via email.
