"Harry" Early on Monday, April 12, 2010, God called Harry Peddle to be with Him, and the dawn of Harry's new day began in heaven. Harry Peddle at age 84 years, died at his residence in Kitchener. Harry was born in Chelsey, MA and was raised in Harbour Grace, Nfld. Dear husband of the late Marguerite "Peg" (Murray) Peddle (2006) for almost 60 years. Dear father of Elizabeth and Bob Pirog of Maine, Dayl and Dave Rominger of Elmira, Gayl and Ken Winfield of Kitchener, Althea Peddle of Kitchener, Ralph and Carole Peddle of Paris, Susan and Ray Maude of Waterloo, Christine and Jack Druif of Acton, Teddi and Terri Barrett of Stratford. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Robert Pirog, Stephen and Christine Rominger, Robin Dahms, Courtney Winfield and Matthew Shantz, Sherlyn and Lyndon Snider Bray, Peter and Anita Krause, Ted and Carol Scheffler, Brian and Shelly Scheffler, Krista and Peter Lefebvre, Eric and Janet Scheffler, Nicholas and Sara Maude, Amanda Maude and Tim Eidt, Lauren and Samuel Peddle-Druif, and by his great-grandchildren. Brother of George Peddle of Iowa, Neville Peddle of Maine, Lillian Crocker of Harbour Grace, Alice Comby of St. John's, Nfld., Marion La Marcotte of Kitchener. Harry is also lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Elizabeth (Ralph) Peddle, his son Stephen Peddle, his granddaughter Rachelle Rominger and his grandson Benjamin Winfield (stillborn), four sisters Vida, Anne, Florence and Molly (in infancy). Harry retired in 1985 after having worked at B.F. Goodrich, Kitchener for 38 years. At Harry's request, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to share their memories on Wednesday, April 14, 2010, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Dreisinger Funeral Home , 62 Arthur St. S., Elmira (519-669-2207). A Memorial Service to celebrate Harry's life and faith will be held at St. Columba Anglican Church, 250 Lincoln Rd., Waterloo, on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Julia Gill officiating.
