Hello Sandy Thousands and thousands, must hundreds . I worked with a Robert Martin for a short time after WWII, When I returned home. There were many Martins at the' Front on Bell Island. Matter off fact, My sister married a Bob Martin, seniors son Any connecion<<<<<<<<<<<<<? George Fred Clarke
What I have is a Frederick Robert Martin marrying a Mary Lucinda Bartlett probably in the early 1900's. I have a John B Martin who married a Martha J. And a Lucy Martin who married Arthur Edward Quinton Pike. Those three lived on Bell Island. Frederick Robert worked in the office of the Belle Isle Mining CO. John B Martin owned a store there and I have nothing for Quentin Pike..These Martins are all direct family, my fathers grandfathers family. I will be in Newfoundland mid June and hope to track down direct family. I am leaving this weekend. So far I have found no direct line.
