Hi: I am not sure of your Nugent descendants... however... my father married Agnes (agatha) king from Bell Island. Her siblings were Anne( John Byrne), Art King, James King, Isaac King, ... Their father was Peter King who married Mary Murphy of the Chapels cove area... Mary died in 1927 or 1929... Peter married Josephine Dawe of Kelligrews in the early 1930's. Peter and Josephine had a dughter who married a US servis man who had three daughters... Pamela Foat in Portland, Ore.... And Lynne Schawrtz in Virginia... The third daughter died some years ago.... And their parents died some years ago also.... Eugene died around 1989, and Nellie, after 2001. I knew her... and talked to her often until about 2003.... Aiden Nugent... gc-gateway@rootsweb.com wrote: > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: MelissaMitchell21 > Surnames: > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.canada.newfoundland.whitebay/0.1.1.4.1/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > Thomas & Theresa's other daughters (as I have it) were: > 1)Mary Ann, married 1st. The 3 children are living there in 1921, and many of her descendents are still there. > > As for Thomas & Theresa's sons, I know that Richard, Zacharias, Mark & John all stayed in either SW Pacquet (Woodstock) or Northeast Pacquet (now just called Pacquet). Sacrey is still a very common name in both these towns, as well as Ming's Bight, a neighbouring town. > > I don't know where their son William lived. > > I hope that helps.
