Surrounded by her loving family at the Grand River Hospital, she lost her battle to complications from a stroke. Cherished wife and best friend of George Pitts for over 50 years. Loving mother of Donna Sievers (Dave) of Virginia, Brian (Tracy) of Kitchener, Carol Hunter (Brian) of Kitchener and Patti Andraza (Jason) of Cambridge. Nanny treasured her grandchildren, Christopher Hunter (Michelle), Caleb, Jada, Desirae, Emma Grace, McKenna, Sophie, Ryder and great- grandchild Katheryne-Eva. Daughter of the late Irene and Ambrose Stoyles. She will be sadly missed by her sisters and brothers and sisters and brothers-in-law. Born on Bell Island, Newfoundland on July 17, 1937. She met the love of her life, George and they married in 1958 and moved to Ontario in 1962. She worked for St. Patrick's School, Kitchener for many years and then opened her own restaurant in Preston (Donut Den). Her generous spirit, warm heart, and sense of humour combined with a love to feed everyone, resulted in a very successful business. So much so, she opened a second restaurant in New Dundee (Village Kitchen). After retiring, she concentrated on her pride and joy - grandchildren!
