Just a small contribution - are you linked with the Hiscocks of Trinity, where there is a historic house open to the public. I know that Hiscock branch connect with Parkstone, now in Poole, Dorset. In the house there is a grandfather clock brought out by the family made by one od the Poole watch/clockmakers. I fear I cannot tell you more of that Hiscock's genealogy, but there are still Hiscocks in Poole. Jim Miller at the Trinity Historical Society may be able to tell you more? Hello, Ian: I am not aware of any Hiscock connections to my Nugent line. As far as we know, all the Nugents (Of Newfoundland) originated in Ireland..... I did have a good friend named John Hiscock in St St. John's. His father was also named John (Jack). Aiden Nugent........
