    3. I have an Ellen Squires married on the 16 of January 1844 to James Eustace in Torbay. She died 30 Jan 1887 at age73. Her birthdate would therefore be abt 1814. Can any Squires researcher confirm this? Pat, in Michigan On Oct 12, 2009, at 12:48 PM, Joe Moore wrote: > Have George Squires of John. 3. Hi. My Grandmother name was Hannah who married George Benjamine Morgan. Hannah died 2 May 1977. She was the daughter of Elijah Squires and Rebecca?? I have Joseph (married Jane Smith) as Elijah's father and William (married Mary Fitzgerald) as father of Joseph. I believe William's parents were John Squires and Anne. My Great Grandfather Hezekiah Morgan married Mary Jane Squires. She died in June 1931 but I have no other information on either as church records were burnt in a fire in 1860. I am away the rest of this week but like to continue to exchange information with you when I am back home. 3. Hi Lister's! I need some assistance, pleasssssssssssssssssssse! Would anyone have an information on a Joseph Bowler, born 1732 in England, Sherwood Forest to be exact. There was a Regiment on Foot recruiting in Nottinghamshire in 1753. This would have made Joseph 21 years old. This same Regiment landed in Newfoundland in 1754. I believe Joseph was with this Regiment. Joseph had a son William Ormskirk Bowler and I am wondering if William could have possibly been born to Joseph and his wife here in Canada and not in England, as some people have suspected. William died Feb 8, 1835 in Fugit Township, Decatur, Indiana. My question is would anyone have any information on a Regiment that laned in Newfoundland in 1754 and access to any names??? I know it is a longshot but thought the answer is always "no" unless one asks. :) Thanks so much for any assistance or possible directions I could take. Rae Martin Niagara Falls Ontario

The only Sacrey-Inuit connection that I know of is farther down the line. Thomas's grandson Dorman married an Inuit woman from Nain, so many of the Sacrey descendents are Inuit. 2 or 3 other of Thomas' grandchildren married Mitchell's, who are of Micmac descent. So I don't know if maybe these marriages are why the Sacrey name has been associated with the background. Sorry I can't be of more help.
