The best news is most of it will be FREE, you only have to show up to take advantage of it. Other presentations may be added depending on available time and presenters. Maybe you will find something you have been looking for or get you through that "brick wall" that has stopped you for so long. Doug was born in St. John`s, Newfoundland, Canada, on June 14, 1930, the second of two children born to Eleanor and Moncrieff Mawer, both from St. John`s. Doug is survived by his son Rob, his daughter Sue as well as his three grandchildren Amanda Mawer, Roger Mawer, and Zachary Spike, all residents of Simi Valley Doug worked as a design engineer for Shamban Aerospace for 34 years until his retirement. In his off hours, he was an avid aviation buff; from historian to building model aircraft, to restoring a vintage Taylorcraft. He was also an active member of the Los Angeles chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association. However, as much as he loved aviation, nothing gave him more joy than the time he spent with his three grandchildren.
