Hello, My gggrandfather Charles Newton was born in NC. in 1810 and lived in ARK from the 1850s to 1867 when the whole clan migrated to TX. His father's name was John, and he made the trip to Tx and died there shortly thereafter. It means he would have been 90 in 1867 which is unlikely but not impossible. I can find nothing about him except from old family history's,etc. Yours truly Clyde W.
