Newton b: Sep 22, 1860 d: Nov 4, 1930 in Grayson County, Kentucky and Eliza Jane Wilson Newton b: Apr 20, 1868 and d: Jul 14, 1921 James father was: "Billy Cook" and his mother was Sally Newton b: 1830 (Note they were not married so James took the name of Newton) Sally's father and mother were: Samuel C. Newton and ??? Samuel C. Newton's father and mother were: Brumsberry Wilson b: 1770's and ???Newton (Note: they were not marrried) Brumsberry Wilson's father was James Wilson b:1742 I would like to trace the unknown Newton mother of Samuel C. Newton back. If anyone has any information please contact me [email protected] You will notice I am of the Decker's and Wilson's and Newton's from Grayson County, Kentucky. Jim, are you from that area? I know there are still Newton's in Leitchfield, Kentucky. I am in Indiana and planning to go to Frankfort, Kentucky next year to the state capital to do some searching. I have all the Decker back to 1600's. I have the Wilson's back to 1742. Thank you in advance for the information. -----Original Message----- From: Newton <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Friday, August 06, 1999 12:02 PM Subject: Re: AMELIA/PAMELIA NEWTON >Hi Dorothy. > >The only Pamelia Newton that I have in my line was >born in 1847. > >Some of the Newtons did move into Ohio and Indiana >but I haven't been able to trace them as yet. > >I have the same trouble tracing the women side of the >family.
