Hi All. Thanks to everyone for the information on Henry Newton of Essex County, VA. I'm researching GILES NEWTON who is listed in some of the old Caroline County court order books. He was born 1738-1743. I'm pretty sure he came from the Henry Newton line but so far I am unable to make a connection. The records are just gone. He moved to Henrico County, VA and had his family there before moving on to Charlotte County, VA and in 1785 to Marlboro County, SC. Jim Newton
