John had brother living in virginia in 1795, the place maybe in Caroline Co, Va. John went to Va and left his son Isaac there in Va in the care of his brother who is unknown. Isaac is found in Caroline Co, Va where he gets md to Sarah Spicer and is on the 1800, 1810 census there. in Caroline County, By 1814 he returns to South Carolina and buys land from his brother Henry Newton. A tax list for Caroline County, Va shows the following Newton's for 1789 personal tax: Edmund, James, Jesse and two Mary's. 1799 Land Caroline County: Jesse, Berryman and Samuel Newton. Have noticed early data for a Peter and a Benjamin from Caroline County, before Rev. War period.
