    3. Hi Dave, I am not sure what you mean about putting the letter groups together. Do you mean to arrange the table so that all the 'nodes' of like letter are together? I am unsure because all the nodes of same letter should also have the same haplogroup. Do you mean the rootsweb page or the FTDNA page? I have no control over SMGF. The idea was that people could be tested for free, but they wouldn't get the results. Later people figured out that they could determine which sample was theirs from the database, and use that. But I have no way of knowing who those Newtons were that tested with them or the ancestry. I would only know more raw data. The trouble there really isn't representation of the data (ordering of the DYSes, e.g.), but making initial contact with those that tested. And even then I really wouldn't know how to associate the samples with the data unless the participants had already done that. Cheers, Gregg "David S. I think my wife's family is group T here in upstate SC but haven't been able to get anyone in our family to put up the money to test. Do you think you would be able to post DNA test results from the free http://www.smgf.org/ site? It does show that the results can be shown in any format.
