Jim, concerning the family of George Newton, do you know anything about the siblings of George, if there were any, and if so, who they were ? I am a Newton and have a long line traced back to Joseph Newton who went from Monmouth County, New Jersey to Virginia. I am trying to get information on his parents . I know his father was also named Joseph and was a blacksmith. Joseph Jr. was born in 1724 so I suppose his father was born around the early part of 1700's.
