    3. Gay, I did a search and found this: Confereate States of America in 1861 Isac Mitchell Newton entered the Civil War Service August 23, 1861. He died from tetanus and a crushed hand in CSA on November 29, 1861. Emma Burns Nalley's father brought his body in a wagon., Thomas Buford Burns. Mitchell's name is on Newton monument with Billy & Elmina, his parents. Bryan
