Hello Pat...I don't have a Mary Newton in my line as of yet...I'm still hunting my line also and I don't have them all yet. I do have my Sewell line traced back all the way to 1695 back to Jesse Sewell from Durham England. Have you ever seen your Sowell family name spelled Sewell? I'm new at all this but I have found that the spelling of the name changes with all these old timers as the wind blows...it makes it very confusing for me.
