Dear List, Does anyone have any knowledge of Fannie M. Gould born October 22, 1868 in Windham County, CT (either Pomfret or Putnam or Abington) or possibly born across the border in RI. Fannie married a man with the surname Newton and they may have lived in Massachusetts or another state. Fannie M. Gould was an only child born to William Putnam Gould 1839-1917 and Elizabeth Copeland. William P. Gould was a veteran of the Civil War. He was born in Rhode Island, lived his adult life in CT and is buried in Pomfret, Windham County, CT with the rest of his family. He refers to his only living child as Fannie M. Newton. Does anyone have a printed Newton genealogy that they might find a listing for my mystery woman: Fannie M. Gould Newton?? Janice Gould Johnson
