I'd love to have any info on NC Newtons, also. My Mary Newton Sowell was in NC in the late 1700's. Her father was Nicholas Newton, and I would love to learn more about them. My Sowells were in Duplin Co. earlier, so I think it is possible that my Newtons were, too. Thanks for any help you can give me.
