I will soon be posting info that came from an 1800's obit. that was saved by family regarding the life and death of James M. Newton born in Chautauqua County, NY - prominent citizen of Dansville, NY - his 1 son, Wiley B. Newton was my great grandfather - I will post as soon as I receive my copies of this info in the mail. Thankfully, my grandmother was a family scrapbook keeper, and much info that no one had previously known on both her family and her husband's family is now known. (Thanks Grandma!)
